The Man Who Will Come (L’uomo che verrà) directed by Giorgio Diritti (Italy/118min.) Sony D-Cinema Award/ Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy and cash reward of 3,000,000 yen is given by Sony and Sony Business Solutions.

Best Director

Judge directed by Liu Jie (China/98min.) Sony D-Cinema Award/ Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy and cash reward of 1,000,000 yen is given by Sony and Sony Business Solutions.

Best Screenplay

Children Metal Divers directed by Ralston G.Jover (Philippines/93min.) Sony D-Cinema Award / Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy and cash reward of 500,000 yen are given by Sony and Sony Business Solutions.

Special Jury Prize

Tehroun directed by Nader T. Homayoun (Iran, France/95min.) Sony D-Cinema Award/ Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy and cash reward of 500,000 yen are given by Sony and Sony Business Solutions.

SKIP CITY Award

Seesaw directed by Keihiro Kanyama (Japan/70 min.) Trophy and the access to SKIP City’s digital post-production facilities to support winner’s next feature length filmmaking project are given by the festival organizers. (Time and range of accessibility is restricted).

Short Length Competition (Domestic) Best Picture – Kawaguchi Citizen’s Award

Ressentiment directed by Takuma Dan (Japan/29 min.) Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy, cash reward of 500,000 yen and SKIP City Awards are given by the Citizens’ Circle to Support SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL. *SKIP City Awards is given to the Best Picture winner who can use SKIP City’s shooting devices in free. (Time and range of accessibility is restricted).

Honorable Mention – Kawaguchi Citizen’s Award

Family Deck directed by Tomoyasu Murata (Japan/22 min.) Lie of the Gorilla directed by Isao Kusakari (Japan/30 min.) Certificate and trophy are given by the festival organizers. Trophy and cash reward of 300,000 yen each are given by the Citizens’ Circle to Support SKIP CITY INTERNATIONAL D-Cinema FESTIVAL.
